物理性質(zhì):
Parafilm封口膜,是半透明的,有柔性的，熱塑性塑料, 高性能防水材料，本身為無(wú)色，無(wú)嗅，無(wú)味，厚度僅 0.005 ″（0.127mm）。
Parafilm M's 的特性使它適用于許多重要實(shí)驗(yàn)和技術(shù)方面的理想工具，它緊緊而且自動(dòng)密閉的形成在試管,瓶，各種不規(guī)則工具和物體的表面。

注意: 由于材料本身對(duì)水蒸氣的低滲透性和低敏感性，所以相對(duì)于氧氣或者二氧化碳的滲透性，這兩者在濕度方面有本質(zhì)的不同。
受普通試劑的影響：
濃鹽酸（12N）稀釋到(5N),在24小時(shí)內(nèi)不會(huì)有明顯影響
濃硫酸（36N）稀釋到(5N),在24小時(shí)內(nèi)不會(huì)有明顯影響
濃硝酸（22%）,在24小時(shí)內(nèi)不會(huì)有明顯影響
濃氫氧化鈉（28%）,在24小時(shí)內(nèi)不會(huì)有明顯影響
：5%，非長(zhǎng)期性，在棕色環(huán)境內(nèi)18個(gè)小時(shí)無(wú)明顯影響
1%，效果同上排除在淺色環(huán)境內(nèi)
碘溶液，0.1N：在棕色環(huán)境內(nèi)18個(gè)小時(shí)無(wú)明顯影響
氯化鈉20%, 在24小時(shí)內(nèi)不會(huì)有明顯影響

? Ammonium hydroxide conc. (28% NH3) - no apparent effect in 24 hours
? Potassium permanganate:
5%: no apparent effect except permanent dark brown ation in 18 hours
0.1%: same as 5% but slightly less
Iodine solution 0.1N: no effect except brown staining in 18 hours
? Salt (NACL) solution 20%: no apparent effect in 24 hours
? Ethyl Alcohol 95%: no apparent effect except some face whitening in 24 hours
? Isopropyl alcohol 99%: no apparent effect in 24 hours
? Not recommended for use with chorinated, non-polar aliphatic and aromatic solvents
Film becomes soft and sticky at about 130°F to 150°F (68°C)
